MOM-MOM'S CORN FRITTERS

THE STORY:

Many years ago, my Kindergarten teachers wanted to put together a class recipe book for which each student would submit a family recipe. However, my family doesn't cook much so the recipe we contributed was a simple one from my grandma that I had never even tried... and to this day, still haven't.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

LET'S GET STARTED:

  1. Mix cream corn, egg, baking powder, and flour until the consistency resembles that of pancake batter.

  2. Put a small amount of oil in the frying pan.

  3. Begin to pour batter into the pan and continue to cook as you would pancakes.

  4. Turn over the fritters when they are lightly browned on one side.
